ॐ त्र्यम्बकं यजामहे
सुगन्धिं पुष्टिवर्धनम्
उर्वारुकमिव बन्धनान्
मृत्योर्मुक्षीय मामृतात् ॥
Meaning:
1: Om, We Worship the Three-Eyed One (Lord Shiva),
2: Who is Fragrant (Spiritual Essence) and Who Nourishes all beings.
3: May He severe our Bondage of Samsara (Worldly Life), like a Cucumber (severed from the bondage of its Creeper), ...
4: ... and thus Liberate us from the Fear of Death, by making us realize that we are never separated from our Immortal Nature.
"LET US NOT PRAY TO BE SHELTERED FROM DANGERS BUT TO BE FEARLESS WHEN FACING THEM....!".
~Rabindranath Tagore~
"The feat
of superbly imitating a muscle, as Michelangelo did, or a face, as
Raphael did, created neither progress nor a hierarchy in art. Because
these artists of the sixteenth century imitated human forms, they were
not superior to the artists of the high periods of Egyptian, Chaldean,
Indochinese, Roman, and Gothic art who interpreted and stylized form
but did not imitate it."
