BJP India BJP decided to hike train fares: is that fair?

A day before train journeys start costing substantially more, the government is being asked to withdraw the hike in fares by its own lawmakers. From tomorrow, local trains will cost twice as much. Finance Minister said that the rail fare hike is difficult but it's a correct decision from Narenda Modi's new administration. On the other hand, the Railways Minister assured that feelings of Mumbaikars will be considered. Do you find BJP's decision fair?
